Enjoy Your Life!

Hey Royals! I hope your week has been a productive and magical one thus far! It is the beginning of a new month already...that's bananas! This year is moving quickly.

Thinking of how quickly time passes, are you enjoying your life? Are you appreciating every day you have been blessed with? Are you making memories, spending time with loved ones and doing the things that make you happy?

If you answered no to any of those, I implore you to change that. Life is short. We hear that a lot, but have you ever thought about how quickly a day goes by? A month? A year? Even though we were all home during the height of the pandemic, the time still went by swiftly; that happened two years ago for crying out loud!

If you are a parent, how many times have you thought or even said aloud that time was flying when you looked at your child or another of their birthdays came and went?

It is a fact that life is short in the overall scheme of things, so we have to make the most of it. Live your life to the fullest. Have no regrets. If there is something you want to do, do it. That trip you want to take, the business you want to start, whatever you want to do, do it.

I said when I started my business that it would be nationwide; that it will reach across the country. Well, in the past eight months The Concierge Queen LLC has been in 12 states! I was thinking franchises when I said it, but I have gained exposure and clients in the majority of those states so I am grateful. I shared that because if I had turned down the opportunity to drive for the company I contracted my business with I would have missed out on that exposure and the memories that were created while I was on the road.

Don't leave any opportunities to create memories and to live a full life on the table. Don't carry your dreams or ideas to the grave; make them a reality and enjoy every leg of the journey.

While I was on the road I met a lot of amazing, interesting people. Some I got closer to than others. One client in particular was a nice, older man; quiet, respectful and wise. We had some deep conversations and I learned a lot. He was a dialysis patient so he went to the facility three times a week. When he would come out after 4 long hours of the procedure, he would be tired and some times took a nap on the way home. He was in good spirits all the time no matter how he was feeling.

Well, I went to pick him up on a Monday and found out that he had passed away over the weekend. That hit me like a sucker punch. He was seemingly okay on Friday, fell ill that evening, went to the hospital and never came home. I sat in front of his house for some time thinking of how he had no idea that our ride on Friday was the last; neither did I. It made me think about my own life and what things I have wanted to do and haven't for whatever reason. It made more appreciative of the life I have been blessed with and I vowed to enjoy the remainder of it. I do not want to leave anything undone that I want to do. I don't want any regrets, any unseen dreams and no opportunities left on the table. I had a big "aha" moment and realized that no matter how short life may be, I have right now and I am going to make the most of the gift I have been given.

Like the video says enjoy your life. Be grateful for the life the Most High has given you. It's a gift and we need to live it to the very best of our ability.

I won't hold you any longer because we both have some living to do! : )

Until next time,

Peace and blessings
