The debut book from Jeanene M. Hall-Durham is inspired by her life, family and a lifelong request of her now deceased father. He told her many times that she should write a book; a request that was fulfilled after his untimely death.
The poetry featured is a collection of thoughts of her life; good and bad. Jeanene hopes that everyone will find something that will inspire or empower them to continue to pursue whatever goals they have set for themselves no matter what obstacle tries to stop them.

Because of the Creator's patience with me and the strength given me, I am able to cleanse myself of all of that and allow myself to regenerate my soul and spirit through tears and bleeding...only on paper.
